Pavel Misiga

Pavel Misiga has environmental policy experience in various subject areas.

He worked as an environmental consultant and later as a senior official at the Ministry of Environment in his home country Slovakia. He also represented his country in the EU accession negotiations in the field of environment. He then joined the European Commission and during the last decade he has led teams working on Sustainable Production and Consumption, Resource Efficiency, Circular Economy and Water policies. He is currently the head of Eco-innovation Unit in Directorate General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission.
