Philippa Roberts

Philippa Roberts is an innovator and entrepreneur who has long used circular economy principles in her work. She is an expert in the resource flows of waste and water and has been working in these sectors for nearly 20 years. A member of Glas Cymru, the parent company of Welsh Water (the only not-for-profit water company in England and Wales), she is interested in different ownership and business models and their impacts in bringing about change. Her work has included looking at the impacts of food waste disposers on sewers, to see if we can take bin lorries off the roads, and of compostable food packaging in anaerobic digestion.
