Vesa-Matti Lahti

I am a Senior Lead in Sitra’s Sustainability programme. My work involves finding solutions to societal challenges related to the sustainability transition and scaling innovations related to solving them. I have more than 20 years of experience in anticipating and analysing different societal challenges at Sitra. I have a doctorate in administrative sciences and my dissertation was in the field of environmental sociology. I am motivated by a will to make society of the future ecologically and socially sustainable. I believe we need an ecological structural change, which means changes at the levels of practical measures, structures and our ideals.
