Xaver Edelmann

Xaver Edelmann is a scientist and technology expert with decades of experience.

He started his career as a research and development scientist, went on to be a consultant, and was awarded with the Berthold Award of the German NDT Society for outstanding contributions in the field of nondestructive testing. He assumed the position as Head of Nondestructive Testing at the Corporate Research Department at Sulzer Brothers Limited, later becoming Head of the Department of Applied Sciences. For 22 years he was Member of the Board of Executive Directors of Swiss Federal Institute for Materials Science and Technology, Empa. Currently he is President of the Board of the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems, SQS and founder and President of the World Resources Forum, WRF. He is Full Member of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences, SATW and has been President and member of several organisations.
