This session will shine the spotlight on Africa and its role in the transition to the circular economy. It will explore the existing strengths of and potential risks to the continent in the context of a globally connected economy. The focus will be on the opportunities and means for realising the sustainable development goals through a circular economy transition in Africa, emphasising things such as the need for sustainable job-creation and export-led growth.
