Partnerships, collaboration and innovation challenges can be an effective cocktail to drive circular innovation and systems transformation.

The idea behind innovation challenges is simple: identify a problem, design and publicize a challenge, mobilize innovator communities, select best solutions and help them mature, implement and scale. Incentives for solvers behind innovation challenges vary from non-financial ones, such as visibility and capacity building, to mobilizing capital through prize money.

In this session, you will meet some of the world’s leading companies, partnerships and experts sharing insight on how innovation challenges can drive circular innovation.

The session culminates with the announcement of the LAUNCH Innovation Challenge 2017 which seeks circular economy innovations and solutions for design and manufacturing from around the world.
