RDI and Growth Outlook in Central Uusimaa

This project addresses barriers to the growth and renewal of medium-sized technology industry enterprises in Central Uusimaa. Over a four-month preliminary study, it will deliver a comprehensive overview of research, development, and innovation (RDI) activities in the region. The project will support regional stakeholders in the effective allocation of development measures and resources. In March, participating companies will be selected in collaboration with local authorities and development agencies. Subsequently, a targeted survey and company-specific interviews will be conducted during April and May. In June, the collected data will be analysed to identify key themes and bottlenecks in RDI, with findings compiled into a situational report. Keuda will coordinate the project, with cities and development agencies contributing to company selection, survey validation, and interpretation of results. The outcomes will inform future actions to address identified challenges and enhance the region’s economic vitality, supporting evidence-based policy and strategic investment at the European level.
